Merhaba,

nasilsiniz?

well, I have worked already twice in Turkey as an au-pair, but no more than 3 months each time.

Now I would like to find a more "serious" job for the next year. I´d like to get a job in any hotel, language school or even at the airport would be nice.

My turkish level is intermediate, I´m fluent in english, bilingual in spanish & catalan, and have a basic knowledge of italian and french.

I´ve been studying english philology (although didn´t finish the degree) and now I´m studying Tourism (1 year to go) which is wht I really like.

I´ve been trying to find a job through the net, but it´s impossible.

Any turk has any idea of the language schools in istanbul that teach spanish? maybe they´re looking for a spanish teacher.

Is there anybody involved in a situation like mine?

Thanks in advance.{#lang_emotions_wink}

In Istanbul there´s a very known spanish language school that is called Cervantes. http://estambul.cervantes.es/es/default.shtm

Maybe you can email them. That´s all I can do about it.

 I have emailed Instituto Cervantes and they haven´t even bothered answering. They may be able to offer a part-time job if you´re living in Istanbul, but forget about a full-time job since they assign those directly from Madrid through a very demanding process called "oposiciones", and they demand a degree in Spanish Language and Litterature anyway.

Thanks to both of you.

Actually I had already mailed Inst. Cervantes a couple of times before, but as you said they never replied.

Now I´ve mailed them again but to tell you the truth I don´t expect any answer...

Also in this site: yenibiris.com can be found several jobs for hotels and language schools..

but it looks very difficult to get a serious job in Ist.

we will see {#lang_emotions_rolleyes}
