who said i am only looking at the "white" side of things? i am totally against racism on "both" sides. it´s not like i´m saying it´s ok for white people to say racist stuff. the issue is... why "blacks" get away with racial slurs, while white people get jailed, accused, and condemned for it... a whole lot of legalities involved. if black people make racial comments, and are treated the same way as white people, then i wouldn´t have taken notice of it in the first place.
Where are you getting this information?

i would have backed that up, if it weren´t side-tracked by the fact that you said it was racist. the video wasn´t racist, the comments on the video link were.
so if we were to discuss why Obama isn´t a worthy candidate, i´ll gladly discuss...
the whole racist thing is a different issue.
I did not say the video was racist! Are you really reading my comments or putting your own spin on them. I said the COMMENTS were racist...and it was a side note of my original post.

Maybe because they are actually the ones who have suffered, and still suffering in some places and situations from racist treatments.

I don´t want your apology and I´m not going to do your homework for you. You are the one making these statements and you are the one unable to defend them.
It´s clearly a waste of time to ask you to support what you say.

thank you.... i don´t understand how people can be so high-strung. my issue was if Obama is a legitimate candidate, in the first place. dunno why it got out of hand like this...
and the racist issue is a different issue for me for the video i posted. if i could post the video without the comments with it, i would, but i can´t.
The problem with the video you posted is that it is vile and slanderous and filled with untruths. Of course Obama is a legitimate candidate, as McCain. I prefer Obama, but that is my choice. We need to keep to the actual facts, not propaganda.
As for racisim, the fact of the matter is the percentage of nonwhites incarcerated is far greater then their proportion in the society....what do you think that says?

i´m not "asking you to do my homework" the point is, there isn´t any... and don´t worry, i´m not going to apologize to YOU. my intention is to apologize for any misinformation i had about racist prosecution being one-sided.
and yes, we are wasting each other´s time.

for the link you posted... it was of drug arrest, not of the racial slur issue.... this is yet another topic.

Well, I don´t think I posted a "low blow". I´m sure I´ve said worse things then that. GG is right, its my opinion and I´m allowed to voice it. What I didn´t see is yours. I´m assuming thats because you don´t have one? If you voice it by posting videos I can post tons about every candidate thats ever ran for President. Old friends and fellow POW´s of McCain that have some pretty dirty stuff on McCain as well, but I will not post one stating he is not a citizen because he was born in the Panama Canal or something that is just nonsense.
Try not to get to hung up on racial issues, its a loosing battle. Good luck to you and your candidate tonight, I´m off to have a good time watching the election.

My Dear....and I say that honestly, not in a sarcastic manner. From your photo, you appear to be very young. The African Americans have had a very difficult time of it.
Please read this account of Northrup Soloman´s life as a slave. It is a long read, but well worth reading as it will perhaps give you some insite into the problems these people had to deal with. To you slavery seems a long time away, but the reality is, actual slaves are still in living memory. There are those alive today who remember a grandmother who was a former slave. They were left with very little.
If you understand what these people have had to endure, you might have some more compassion and understanding.

funny how other people here can post articles and videos in TLC without issuing personal comments, regarding the post they made... and yet while i am doing the same thing, i get stoned for it. double standards people... you know what? forget it... i don´t want to get into an argument with hot-headed people.
