I´m just a learner but here are a few translations:

olaya = ?

bak = look !

meþur = ?  (meþru = allow, true)

olmuþuz = we happened, we did (olmuþ = happened, done, past)

elin = your hand, (el = hand)

memleketinde = at/in your home country, at home

(memleket = motherland/fatherland, country)

Try www.tureng.com as an online dictionary.

Hope this helped.

As for the dictionary, I advice Turkish Class online dictionary, it is the best dictionary I have seen online so far. Just right click twice with your mouse on a word on the website and the site opens automatically looking for that word.

I´ll also give you my opinion Deli kizin.

This site´s dictionary is very good and convenient, but I feel not as thorough as the site I mentioned previously. As we all know, translations do not always have an exact meaning. The more possible meanings you are given may eventually help you translate better. As a learner I prefer to have more possible meanings.

eg olmuþ.

On this dictionary site one meaning: ripe.

On the other site: done, grown, happened, mature, past, up, ripe.

It may confuse you more, but it may also help.

Both are good resources, and in the end can never beat language experience or a Turk with translations.

Also thanks for your attempt at translation of the sentence, as I learn faster with the help of you and all the translators on this site.
