all those words and most of my boyfriends family that live here still call it 'toliet' even when speaking in turkish!

Isn't "kenef" slang - similar to the English term "bog" ???

Are "hela" and "ayakyolu" in common usage?
I certainly prefer "hela" to "tuvalet"!
