Hi:
I'd really appreciate if you could translate this song for me, I understand only a few words, but I think it'll be an easy translation.
Ay Karanlık
Maviye, maviye çalar gözlerin
Yangın mavisine
Rüzgardan asi körsen senden gayrısına
Yoksan, bozuksan can benim, düş benim
Ellere nesi hadi gel, gel ay karanlık
İtten aç, yılandan çıplak, vurgun ve bela
Geri durmuşsam of oy kapına
Var mı ki, var mı ki doymazlığın
İlle de ille, sevmelerin, sevmelerim gibisin
Oturmuş yazıcılar fermanım yazar
Etme gel, gel ay karanlık
Thanks for your help

This is not really simple, but here is a try:
Ay Karanlık - Moon is dark (there is no moon to light the night)
Maviye, maviye çalar gözlerin --- Your eyes are bluish
Yangın mavisine --- Like the blue in a fire
Rüzgardan asi körsen senden gayrısına --- If you are more rebelious than wind, blind to others
Yoksan, bozuksan can benim, düş benim --- If you are absent, in a bad mood, this is my life and my dream
Ellere nesi hadi gel, gel ay karanlık --- Why should anyone care, come on come to me, the moon is dark
İtten aç, yılandan çıplak, vurgun ve bela --- More hungry than a dog, more naked than a snake, thievery and trouble
Geri durmuşsam of oy kapına --- If I stood back from your door
Var mı ki, var mı ki doymazlığın --- Do you have some dissatisfaction?
İlle de ille, sevmelerin, sevmelerim gibisin --- You are exactly like your love, like my love
Oturmuş yazıcılar fermanım yazar --- The typists are busy writing my edict
Etme gel, gel ay karanlık --- Don't do this to me, come, the moon is dark

Sağol Admin!
Thanks for your translation,I didn't know that "Ay" could mean moon as well as month, so I thought "gel, gel ay karanlık" was something like "come, come dark month".
I think the song is about a political prisoner who misses his loved one, I especially like the lines where he says that the typists are writing his edict/sentence, sends a chill down your spine.
I think I'll translate the lyrics into Spanish and then send them to my Turkish friend, she'll be quite glad I think.
