I have some English pounds to change into lira.  Not sure whether to change now or hold on for a while to see if the lira goes up again.  What would you do.

The exchange rate of the turkish lira always seems to be going downhill, so the longer you wait, the more liras you´ll get for your pounds. If it´s not really necessary, don´t exchange them

right now, but wait till you have to.

It depends on how many English pounds you have to change!  If it is only a few then 10 ytk one way or the other hardly makes much difference - but if it is a lot then youu could wait - but the lira was 2.70/£ a couple of weeks ago and is now only around 2.46/£.
