Pls help me translate this random questions/phrases... It is to communicate with someone elder than me.. like anne or baba.. I seriously dont know what topics to talk about sometimes! *frustrated and sad* any suggestions are welcome as well lol =P

How’s your day? How was work?

What did you cook today?…… wow, sounds like a tasty dish! I haven’t try it before.

Not going out today? Who is at home?

What time do you normally sleep?…. I normally sleep at (insert time)

What is (name) doing? Is (name) in school now? What time will he come back? Is baba in ankara?

Besides knitting can you sew curtains and table cloths?

I still have the knitted face towel you sent to me.. I love it so much. I want to learn how to knit too, it is a great skill to have.

How’s your day? (Gününüz nasýl geçti?)   How was work?  (Ýþiniz nasýldý?)

What did you cook today?…… (Bugün ne piþirdiniz?)

wow, sounds like a tasty dish! I haven’t try it before.  (Kulaða lezzetli gibi geliyor. Daha önce hiç tatmamýþtým.)

Not going out today?  (Bugün dýþarý çýkmýyor musunuz? ) Who is at home?  (Evde kim var?)

What time do you normally sleep?…. (Genelde saat kaçta uyursunuz?)

I normally sleep at (insert time)   (Genelde 12.00´de uyurum)

12.00am (gece on iki), 01.00 am (gece bir) 02.00 am (gece iki) 3=üç, 4=dört, same way

5.00 am (sabah beþ,, 06.00am (sabah altý), 7=yedi, 8=sekiz, 9=dokuz,10=on same way

11.00 am (on bir)

12.00 am (öðlen on iki), 01.00pm (öðlen bir)...etc.

02.00pm (öðleden sonra iki) , 3, 4 the same..

05.00 pm (akþam beþ) , 06.00pm (akþam altý) 7,8,9,10,11 same

clear?

What is (name) doing? (NAME ne yapýyor?)

Is (name) in school now? (NAME Ã¾u an okulda mý?)

What time will he come back? (Ne zaman gelecek?)

Is baba in ankara? (Baba Ankara´da mý?) (If you mean "Is her/his father ..." you´ll say " Babasý Ankara´da mý?)

Besides knitting can you sew curtains and table cloths? (Örgü örmenin yaný sýra perdeleri dikip,

kumaþlarý ölçebilir misiniz)  I AM NOT SURE WHAT DID YOU MEAN BY" tabling" to measure them to prepare for sewing?)

I still have the knitted face towel you sent to me.. (Bana gönderdiðiniz üstünde örgü yüz olan havluyu hala kullanýyorum.

I love it so much.(Çok sevdim) I want to learn how to knit too, it is a great skill to have.   (Ben de nasýl örüleceðini öðrenmek istiyorum, bu harika bir yetenek)

NOT AT ALL

çok teþekkür ederim anka! your explanation for time is great i love it!! =D

I meant to say she can sew ´table cloths´ too.. erm i forgot the term for it... it´s like a designed fabric that we put on tables/furnitures =)

thanks so much again, you´re so helpful and i learnt something.

ah sorry! that is my fault. I got it as you were demanding curtains to be sewn and clothes to be tabled !! hahahaha silly me.

so you should say   Perde ve masa örtüleri de dikebilir misiniz?

If there will be handworks on the tableclothes you should say " Masa örtüleri iþleyebilir misiniz?"
