hi i would like to wish happy birthday to a friend in turkish..but can u help me? i dont wanna write only "happy birthday". he is a boy but only friend...any ideas please?

 or you could say

 Ãyi ki doðdun,

they both mean happy birthday

Thank u vixs.  Its my fault that i wasn´t clear I would be curios for something longer I mean something like "happy birthday and all the best for you!" something like this, but more creative.

I found some ideas on the internet but i don´t understand them. Can you help me with their meanings? I dont wanna send a romantic one from mistake

1. "Dogumgünün kutlu olsun! Ya onu kaybedersin, ya da kendini mahvedersin."

oh sorry i didnt read your first message properly! im still just in the learning stages of turkish im afraid so cant really translate your messages but from what i can work out the 1st one is wishing a happy birthday and day n something like look after yourself. maybe u should get some1 elses advise as well though. sorry i will read message properly nxt time lol!

I´m really not unpatient, but i would need your help please....If there is any which is good for what i want, please then translate only that one and tell me...i even dont want them all...just please help me, the birthday is today and the time is passing...

I think this one sounds nice - it says something like ´I wish you happiness in your new year and that you climb the ladder to success and I wish you are always laughing and that you lose nothing.  Happy Birthday!´

That´s not literal and I am only a learner but you sounded a bit desperate!
