Hi James,

It helps translators when you write what you want to say in both English and Turkish if you want translations checked.

ad = name

(Benim) adým James = means my name is James, the ´benim´ which means "my" is optional, as ´adým´ means "my name" already.

Zeki = clever, intelligent

To add the suffix for "I" you were correct in adding the "im", but Turkish doesn´t allow two vowels to join (with the exception of old arabic, or borrowed words), so in this case it needs a buffer letter ´y´

So to say ´I am clever´ it is ´zekiyim´

Hope this helps.

To introduce yourself, you can say "ben James" without adding -im suffix. Or as Henry explained, "(Benim) adým James" is another way to say it.

The word kýrýk is used for just one part of a mechanic thing. Your car doesn´t consist of only one part, so you cannot say "kýrýk". Kýrýk is like glass, or a piece of iron got broken into two or more parts so it doesn´t work anymore. For araba, you can say "bozuk": Arabam bozuk.

I don´t understand the rest.

Ermin arabasý buyuk - ´Ermin´s car is bigger? - then it would be ´Ermin´in arabasý daha büyük´ I think

Kendým ufak - possibly ´I am small´? - ´Küðüyüm/Ufaðým (´k´ has to change to ´Ã°´

Yiyerek benziyor - ´he appears by eating´? - sorry, can´t work this one out

Yiyerek benziyor: maybe he´s trying to say: it looks as if he´s eating/ he appears to be eating?

Yemiyora benziyor.

btw: shouldn´t ´i am small´ be translated as ´küçüðüm´?
