I have a couple questions about a short dialogue from the Turkish Tutor. It goes something like this:

- Erken döndü!

- Halettik iþleri.

- Ben de þimdi yemek yaptým, bulaþýk, çamaþýr...

- Böyle oluyor iþte üç gün evden uzaklaþýnca.

I´m having a bit of a problem with the last sentence. I know what individual words mean, but when it´s put together, I´m not sure if I´m understanding it correctly. Could someone break it down for me? I´d appreciate it.

Also, I thought that verb follows the object, and I´d think the second sentence should be "Ýþleri hallettik". Ýs it common to use verb first and then the object in the spoken language? It seems to be quite frequent in that tutor.

 Dear Melek74, we call it devrik cümle, which means unlike the normal structure of a sentence, the verb is not necessarily at the end, and sometimes we don´t use it at all, as we know the other party would understand... yes we do use it moe in spoken language, or sometimes in literature to get the rhyming.. or when we are chatting with someone on the internet...  So, like you can guess if you can move the verb at the end, it would make more sense...

- Erken döndü!

This is correct, it means he came early.

- Halettik iþleri.

Iþleri hallettik.

- Ben de þimdi yemek yaptým, bulaþýk, çamaþýr... (yýkadým)

I have now cooked the food, washed the dishes, the clothes.

- Böyle oluyor iþte üç gün evden uzaklaþýnca.

Ýþte evden üç gün uzaklaþýnca böyle oluyor.

This is what happens when you are away from home for three days.

That was very helpful. I didn´t even think to move "böyle oluyor" to the end. I was also trying to translate "iþte" as something to do with work, but it sounds like in this case it would have the "as you see" meaning.
