Bedava

Bedava yaşıyoruz, bedava;
Hava bedava, bulut bedava;
Dere tepe bedava;
Yağmur çamur bedava;
Otomobillerin dışı,
Sinemaların kapısı,
Camekanlar bedava;
Peynir ekmek değil ama
Acı su bedava;
Kelle fiyatına hürriyet,
Esirlik bedava;
Bedava yaşıyoruz, bedava.

FREE

We live free
Air is free, clouds are free
Valleys and hills are free
Rain and mud are free
The outside of cars
The entrances of cinemas
And the shop windows are free
Bread and cheese cost money
But stale water is free
Freedom can cost your head
But prison is free
We live free

BENİ BU HAVALAR MAHVETTİ

Beni bu güzel havalar mahvetti,
Böyle havada istifa ettim
Evkaftaki memuriyetimden.
Tütüne böyle havada alıştım,
Böyle havada aşık oldum;
Eve ekmekle tuz götürmeyi
Böyle havalarda unuttum;
Şiir yazma hastalığım
Hep böyle havalarda nüksetti;
Beni bu güzel havalar mahvetti.

Thank you Caliptrix. Here is translation.

LOVELY WEATHER

This lovely weather has brought on my ruin.
One fine day like this I quit
My job with the Pious Foundations Agency.
In such weather I got used to smoking
And on a day like this I fell in love:
It was on such a day that I forgot
To take home bread and salt;
Time and again, in this weather
My verse-making disease has recurred.
This lovely weather has brought on my ruin.

Bro,
Here is poem for you, just need to be translated. This is from the book my dear friend sent to me.

Birdenbire

Her şey birdenbire oldu.
Birdenbire vurdu gün ışığı yere,
Gökyüzü birdenbire oldu;
Mavi birdenbire.
Her şay birdenbire oldu.
Kiz birdenbire, oğlan birdenbire;
Yollar, kırlar, kediler, insanlar...
Aşk birdenbire oldu.
Sevinç birdenbire.
