Iraqi reporter Al-Zaidi is in prison, for throwing his shoes at Bush, in a press conference."

Here is a little note I received from an Iraqi friend.

"Urgent, just reported: Al-Zaidi in U.S. run Camp Cropper prison
Iraqi TV al-Sharqiya just reported on the news that AL-Zaidi is transferred to Camp Cropper prison [the Airport prison, managed by the American forces].
The TV Channel announced that Al-Zaidi is in a difficult condition, with broken ribs and signs of tortures on his thighs. Also he can not move his right arm.

He should think himself lucky!!! He would be dead if this happened in some other countries (which I won´t name!!!).

Still, it was a bad attempt anyway, he should have used a wooden clog

Well he is still lucky!  They shoot our TV journalists, whether they throw a clog or not, then refuse to accept any responsibility and close ranks when an inquiry is attempted.
