A very old turkish grammar book!

"Grammar of the Turkish Language" published in 1832 in London.

Ý wonder,which alphabet was used before the Osmaný alphabet ?

Ý mean in Osmanlý Turkish Arabic alphabet was used,now its latin ,so before that,which one been used ?

First they used Göktürk(Orhun, Orkhon) alphabet.

Then they used Uyghur alphabet

Then when they accept Islam, Turkish-Islamic nations used Arabic alphabet

Some Turks who were living in Soviet borders used Cyrillic alphabet

Now Latin alphabet

As a learner,i think i prefer latin ones {#lang_emotions_satisfied_nod}
