Low cost flights from the UK to Turkey (Oct. to April)

Does anyone know of any low cost operators who fly from the United Kingdom to Turkey outwith the main tourist season?  I have used Onur Air quite a few times, but they are now starting to get fairly expensive, unless you book 6 to nine months in advance.

Thanks.

Depends where you are flying to and from.  Pegasus are flying from Stansted to Istanbul Sabia Gökçen and on to Bodrum at the moment and I think they are planning to expand this later in the New Year.

Modify:  Oh and to Antalya, Izmir and Dalaman - I just noticed!

Thanks for the information LIR.  I would be flying to Bodrum, but I don´t mind flying via another airport.  I´ll give Pegasus a try.

Easy Jet from Luton I think, to Istanbul on the Asian side (LIR post has the airport as I can never remember)

But I think "cheap" will be become less and less.

We did once fly with Thomas Cook to Dalyman and that was about £78 in the main season though.

Thank you Libralady. I am based in Scotland, but my family and I spend around 4 or 5 months of the year on the Bodrum Peninsula.  Unfortunately there are no direct flights to Bodrum from Scotland outwith the main tourist season, so it usually means travelling via Manchester or London if we want to go over the Winter.

I agree that it is becoming more difficult to get cheap flights to Turkey.  I think Turkey will be popular with British Tourists in 2009.  With the Pound having fallen in value and now almost on a par with the Euro, I think many Brits will be looking at Turkey as an alternative to places such as Spain, Portugal, France etc.

I´ll give Easyjet a try also.

What about flights out of Glasgow?  I am sure you would have tried that, but I know you can get cheap Ryanair flights from Prestwick to Stansted.  Or Easyjet to Glasgow Int from to Stansted.

I booked my flight to Izmir airport in November with British Airways, it was relatively cheap, about £200. And I´ve booked another flight with British Airways from Gatwick to Izmir in March for 3 weeks, same price again. I wanted to go to Bodrum too but had to go for Izmir.

Thank you everyone who has posted suggestions.  This gives me a few more options than I had before.
