Merhaba,

 

could someone traslate the folowing sentence:

 

Þimdi annemle babam hazýrlýk yapýyorlar.

 

I could not find the meaning of yapýmak.

I think it says "Now my mother and my father are making preparations (getting ready maybe?)", but wait for corrections, just a learner here.

 

There´s no verb "yapýmak" (that I know of). When you use the -yor tense, you add -ýyor (or -iyor, -uyor, or -üyor, depending on the vowel harmony) to the verb stem. So in this example yapýyorlar comes from the verb yapmak (yap-ýyor-lar). "Hazýrlýk yapmak" means "to make preparations, prepare" according to the dictionary here.
