"oynama" means "don´t play"

Literally: "Don´t play to the stands my friend"

it means something like , don´t turn the thing you are doing into a show.

I think it was a somewhat ´reasonable´ mistake since I could have thought the same thing

Re:´tribünlere oynama dostum´ IMHO ´oynama´ can be  either "don´t play" or "fact of playing"  But usually as the verb comes at the end, so you had to ´assume´ some punctuation after "oynama" then it obviously is the negative imperative.  But the native and/or ´really good´ speakers I guess know this instinctively.
