Türkiyede hava Ingiltere kadar sert deyil o yüzden

Not sure but something to do with English weather being harder than Turkish???

Emekli olunca

When will you retire?

Türkiyeye mi yerleþeceksiniz?

Will you settle in Turkey?

Belki ikna olur

Maybe you can persuade

emekli oluncaya kadar

when will you retire?

I think {#lang_emotions_confused}  I have the general understanding of it but would love to know exactly please.

And if anybody has time to explain I would be very grateful

Quoting mylo

actually the Turkish were phrases sent to me via msn. I was checking I had understood enough to answer correctly. I think I have but only through guesswork!!

Thanks anyway Mylo at least you have confirmed I wasn´t completely wrong

BTW What is this obsession in Turkey with retirement. I must be looking a lot older than I feel

So (therefore, thus) in Turkey the weather is not as harsh as in England.

Not sure but something to do with English weather being harder than Turkish???

Emekli olunca

When s/he retires (I think olunca is ol- with the suffix -ince for when)

Maybe When retiring

When will you retire?

Türkiyeye mi yerleþeceksiniz?

Will you settle in Turkey? - I think that one is correct

Belki ikna olur

Make s/he is/will be persuaded

Maybe you can persuade

emekli oluncaya kadar

when will you retire?

Until retiring

I think {#lang_emotions_confused}  I have the general understanding of it but would love to know exactly please.

{#lang_emotions_flowers}

My attempt, wait for corrections.

you are right generally but sentences are divided into two, and you thought of them as if they were complete:

Türkiye´de hava Ingiltere kadar sert deðil o yüzden.

The weather in Turkey as not as harsh as in England, that´s why.

Emekli olunca Türkiye´ye mi yerleþeceksiniz?

Will you settle in Turkey when you(or he/she) retire?

Belki ikna olur emekli oluncaya kadar.

Maybe he/she can be persuaded till he/she gets retired.
