Ottomans They are middle-asia-migrated Turks. One branch of the Oghuz family. The other branches are Azerbaijans, Kyrgyz, Turkmen, Kazak, Uighur, Uzbek, Tatar, Gagavuz, Sibirsk, Yakutsk, Kýpçak, etc......(scientists claim Hungarian and Bulgarian are slavized Turks)

They were named ottomans because The first Sultan Had the name Osman in Turkish and Ottoman in English.

He built a state from a tribe containing 300 families in 1299.

His descendents unified people from different religions and cultures into a multicultural and multireligion state.

They were very tolerant for different religions and cultures. For example an  armenian person can be prime minister of the state.

After 1500´s the sultans were granted to be caliph.

After the discovery of America in 1492 the economical situation of the Ottoman state started to deteriorate. Finally, It gave birth to 30-40 new state in 1922 after WW1.

The name Osman is for respect for the Hazreti Usman (one of the four caliphs)
