When I was in Turkey at Christmas my friend kept playing a song over and over again, I am back now and I cant remember who it was by this is a very vauge discription and I dont even know if it is a new song but would be greatful if anyone could shed some light for me.

I would say that it was a rock song it was by a man possibly a band but the singer had two names the title was very short. I asked him what it was about and he put his finger across his throat as if he was slitting it, so I dont know if maybe it is about killing yourself there is also a piano rift in the begining before it goes into the chorus with alot of drums where he was jumping around! It seemed very dramatic but then most Turkish music is I think!

I have searched on line for band and singer names but nothing stands out...!

Well the only thing that comes to mind is Gripin & Emre Aydin - Sensiz Istanbul´a düsmadim . :o not sure though!

I think she means that the singer has two names - i.e. not Tarkan or a name like that - not that there is more than one singer.  Definitely not Sensiz Istanbul´a düþmadým.......sounds more as if it is Turkish Punk Rock don´t you think?

BTW I love that song - definitely one of my favourite modern Turkish songs!

Yeah I mean that it was a singer with 2 words in his name and if I am right I think that the title was really small as in may 2 or 3 letters. Its driving me crazy I wish I could remember the name of the artist! Thanks anyway guys

Have you looked maybe on www.izlesene.com - if you search by müzik you can actually see images of the videos (all 155+ pages of them ) - maybe if you saw a picture from the video it´d ring a bell.

 You need Sui Generis or Caliptrix for this ...they´re the music experts on the site!

Thanks all, I didnt see the video just heard it on his ipod so I wouldnt know from that but I may try anyway! I will repost the question to them and see if they can shine some light on the subject, dont you just hate it when you cant remember something, especially as I thought to myself I must remember that!!!
