Not quite sure what this means, and if ´yegane´ is only used with ´emelim´.

Can any one help? {#lang_emotions_confused}

´Yegane´ means ´unique´

´emelim´ (emel - im) means my desire, my wish, my longing

But I cannot tell if this two words are only used together ...

As ZL states yegane means single/only/sole.

It is used with other words-

bizim yegane sorumluluðumuzda - under our sole responsibility

I am not entirely certain of the meaning of ´yegane´ in Turkish, but it seems to have been borrowed from Farsi ´Yagana´ ... meaning ´unique´ . Urdu uses ´Yagana´ and ´S

---- sorry I hit the ´send button´ prematurley´ !!!!!!!!!!!!!

To continue >>> Urdu uses ´Yagana´ and ´Sýrf´ interchangeably > meaning ´only, unique, mere´, etc.

In Turkish ´Sýrf´ means ´pure, mere´  [close enough]

I hope this helps?!

The word ´yegane´ is an influence of farsi on Turkish. In Farsi, ´YEK´ means ´one, only´. As a derivative of this word ´YEGANE´ would translate roughly as ´pertaining to one, only, sole etc...´

The word ´EMEL´ is from Arabic. IT usually refers to ´desire, goal, wish etc...´

YEGANE EMELIM could also be expressed as TEK (Turkic) DILEGIM (Turkic).
