Can someone help me please..I met a Turkey guy and I'm trying to keep in contact with him..this letter will really help explain my feelings for him.thanks a lot.

Hi sweety, I am very happy that I met you. I know we have only spoken a couple of times but believe it or not but I find myself thinking about you every day. I really like you and want to get to know you more. I don't know how you feel about me. I waited for you on MSN 3 days in a row and you never showed up. It's so hard with our language barrier. Please note that this letter was written with the help of the friendly members at a translation website. I cannot possibly write this letter. They are so friendly to translate my letter into Turkey, that way you can be able to understand how I feel about you. Please write me back and let me know how you feel. I will be waiting for your letter. Sincerely...

Sevgilerimle..

(NOTE: i have tried to translate it as you wrote it.. but a little differences happened.. differences didn't changed your letter.. it's about the structural differences between Turkish and english.. )

Well spotted Alpha! We might have removed the threads 'my turkish boyfriend/girlfriend' to avoid endless discussions about 'lurrrrve' but there's no avoiding or denying that this is why a huge percentage of the members use the site. Still I suppose its good practice for the 'translators'.

I think if you have trouble because of a languagebarrier, you shouldn't make it more difficult for yourself by trying to explain what this website actually is. For her letter, the only thing that matters is that there are friendly people here to help her translate and to get where she wants. I actually think that in the end she will want to learn Turkish herself too and use the site for alllll the things that it's offering!

Removing the turkish bf/gf things won't stop those kind of translations ofcourse. I think most members actually need it for their loved ones abroad, because of a language barrier. But ohh when i read those, I'm so thankful that my bloke and me speak fluent english! (at least fluent enough never to have felt the need to learn Turkish/Dutch). I'm just intrigued and Turkish was on my list of languages to learn ebfore i met him too, but it was on number 10 or something like that ;D Otherwise I'd be learning New Greek and Russian first..hehe.

And today my man will subscribe me to the EGE Bornova course
