A poem I wrote and translated to Turkish while in Turkey in August 2007.

I am not sure how well I translated.  I thought I would share with everyone.

This poem is in my first book I published.  I now have three books published.

Her Bir Küςük Göz Yaþý Damlasý

Her bir küςük göz yaþý damlasýný bir adý var
Umut, sevgi, üzüntü  ve acý
Onlar duygulanýnca ziyaret etmek iςin uðrar
Sýcak ve kabarýk yanýz ve soðuk hissediyor
 
Her bir küςük göz yaþý damlasýnýn kendi parςasýný yapmaya gelir
Kalpten gözlere doðru
Üzüntüyü yatystýrmaya gelve acýyý
Tüm sevinςleri yeni bir umutla ve kazanýlan sevgiliyle paylasýyor

Her bir küςük göz yaþýdamlasýnýn ne yapýlacak biliyor
Yeni taze bir anlam veriyor yaþam iςin güzel ςimen gibi
Ruhu dolduran her umut ve anunla bir likte gelen yeni aþk
O üzerinde aldýðý üzüntü ve ebediyen giden acý

Her bir küςük göz yaþý damlasý rahatlýk klaonu getirir
Yeni bir yarýnýn ve yeni bir inancýn sözü
Günü kontrol eden her bir duyguyu temizliyor
Fark etmez o mutlu veya üzgün hangi yol

Kontrolü almaya amaςlamayan her bir küςük göz yaþý damlasý
Gordeyi yeniler ve aðrýyan ruhu sakinleþýtirir
Bazen o yalinýz bir göz yaþý damlasý alarak düþiecek
Bazen de arkadaþilarýyla bir likte gelecek ve durmak

Her bir küςük gazyaþýýnýn yapacak bir ipi var
Yeni duygularý getiren heyecanlarla akarlar
Aðla mamýza neden olan cuygularla boðulmþilar
Neden olduðuna aldýrma býrak aksýn

Each Little Tear Drop

Each little tear drop has a name,
Hope, love, sorrow, and pain.
They drop by just to visit when emotions take hold,
Warm and fuzzy feeling to feeling alone and cold.

Each little tear drop comes to do its part,
Beckoned to the eyes straight from the heart.
Come to ease the sorrow and wash away the pain,
Sharing all the joy with each new hope that is gained.

Each little teardrop knows just what to do,
Giving life new meaning like grass covered in dew.
Every hope that fills the soul and new love that comes together,
Sorrows that takes over and the pain that goes on forever.

Each little tear drop brings with it some relief,
A promise of a new tomorrow and a new belief.
Cleansing each emotion that controls the waking day,
From happy to sad feelings it tells which way to sway.

Each little tear drop not meaning to take control,
Overwhelms the body and soothes the aching soul.
Sometimes it is only a lone teardrop,
Or it will bring its friends and will not stop.

Each little tear drop has a special job to do,
Moving with emotions bringing feelings new.
Overwhelmed with feelings that is why we cry,
Let the teardrops come without wondering why.
