But Lan is when you are having a conversation between FRIENDS

and it´s somehow similar to : Dude, Man,..

 

Like :

Napiyon lan?

(Ne yapiyorsun lan?)

 

Translation :

Whatcha doin, dude?

(What are you doing, dude?)
