just wondering if anyone can help with this. i am looking for a poem that i heard in turkey. my turkish is pretty basic but it was something about there being two colours of roses one red and one white. also i think something about missing someone. i know its a bit vague but thought i would give it a try. have looked on the turkish poetry bit and cant see it there.

if anyone knows the one i mean could they give me the turkish and english.

thank you xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

http://www.siirevi.net/

Bu dünyada iki gül taniyorum

Biri kirmizi biri beyaz

Eðer sen beni aldatirsan kirmizi gül olsun

Eðer ben seni aldatirsam beyaz gül kefenim olsun...

Not really about missing someone. Anyway, my try:

I know two roses in this world

One red, and one white

If you cheat on me, let it be the red rose

If I cheat on you, let it be my shroud of white roses

Another one about the same subject:

Beyaz gül kýrmýzý gül, a song by Ibrahim Tatlises

Güller arasýndan gelir

Yarim giymiþ beyaz azya

Cuma namazýndan gelir

Ben o yarin sazýyam

Sazýyam avazýyam

Eli elimde olsun

Dilenmeye razýyam

Evleri göçtü neylim

Köprüyü geçti neylim

Yüzde dost kalpte hain

Ben böyle dostu neylim

My try:

White rose, red rose

He comes from between the roses

Halfly dressed, in white azya (local dress)

he comes from the Friday worship

I am that friend´ saz  (???)

I´m his saz, I´m his cry (???)

Let me take you by the hand

I´m satisfied with begging

He moved elsewhere, what can i do

Crossed the bridge, what can i do

On the outside a friend, but a traitor at heart

I´m like this, his friend, what can i do
