Necip Fazil is one of the main character of the book Snow by Orhan Pamuk. The one I really liked while reading that book. He is an student of an religious school in Kars and he is quite dreamer and has a friend with same age who is his class mate. During a revolution made in the city (in a alive tv transmission in the only theater of the city) a soldier reaches his head and kills him, as much as lots of students from this school. He was friend from the exiled K. who was living in Germany and went to Kars to stay a week and make a reportage and come back to Germany.

While searching for poems for Necip Fazil Kisakürek, I found a french book for Laurent Mignon, , a poetic anthology with 40 poems for turcophone (Nazim Hikmet, Cahit Külebi, Necip Fazil Kisakürek...) and arabophone (Samih al-Qasim, Adonis, Mohamed al-Maghout, Mahmoud Darwich..)
The book is divided into 4 themes, Orient-Occident, second wold war , Palestine and national liberation.
Sounds interesting.

Awww thanks but im not good at translating poems or books with phylosophic thoughts, you are better than me in translating songs .
btw Lady Metal, you confused Necip Fazýl and Orhan Pamuk´s fictional Necip & Fazýl, possibly because of Orhan Pamuk´s excellent use of Turkish affected the translator
