A couple follow up questions.

You took the "öyle" out, but haven´t put anything back for "so" - how would you translate "so suddenly"? 

Also, why neden is better than niçin? I´m having a bit of a hard time differentiating when to use either one of them.

neden is "why" and "niçin" is "what for".

the same subtle difference in English applies Turkish as well.

although most of he times you can use these words interchangably,

"neden" seeks for reason while "niçin" seeks for motivation.

and "neden" is also a noun whereas "niçin" is not.

birdenbire is already a kind of superlative in terms of meaning. So you don´t have to putan etra thing for that. But if you want to put something, it should be "öylesine" instead of "öyle".

Maybe I should just replace my Turkish boyfriend with somebody who speaks my language, it would be much easier
