I am told that the end (ACTION)mayalým ýs not a correct conjugation, others ýn class have translated it
as a negatýve subjuntive,  "we must not (action).  Below is the song DEÐMEZ from the Özem Tekin website.

I am told these words mean

alýnmayalým  we must not be offended
abartmayalým  we must not exaggerate
saklanmayalým we must not hidden
sarýlmayalým  we must not be embraced
ayrýlmayalým  we must not be separated

interspersed are statements that

The face of loves is not seen and never ýs
You are for me someone not loved and never loved.

I think last line ýs.

we must not love not curse and not break up.  It is not Valentines day anymore, should have gotten
this out sooner... haha

Any comments?  lyrics and videolink below. Maybe it explains everything.

DEÐMEZ

Bugün doganýn dengesi yok
Öyle herseyden alýnmayalým
Aglasam kýzsam hiç yeri yok
Baþladýk yarým býrakmayalým
Daha seninle iþim bitmedi bitmez
Aþk gün yüzü görmedi görmez
Sana söylemeye degmedi degmez
Seni benim kadar kimse sevmedi sevmez
Yalnýz kalmanýn alemi yok
Ýçip içip abartmayalým
Aþkta sükutun kýymeti yok
Kaçýp gidip saklanmayalým
Aþksýz hayatýn hiç tadý yok
Fani dünyaya sarýlmayalým
Darlanmanýn manasý yok
Sevip sövüp ayrýlmayalým

It is a correct ending - but it does not mean "must not".

For must not:

yapmamalýyým

yapmamalýsýn

yapmamalý

yapmamalýyýz

yapmamalýsýnýz

yapmamalýlar

We call this ending "istek kipi", modal verb for wishes. It is similar to "shall" in English, or "Let´s ..."

yapayým

yapasýn

yapa

yapalým

yapasýnýz

yapalar

(Similar to shall in English, it is used almost only for 1st singular and 1st plural person. The others are really unusual to use; usually used only in some poems or old literature)

and the negative:

yapmayayým

yapmayasýn

yapmaya

yapmayalým

yapmayasýnýz

yapmayalar

So:

alýnmayalým  we shall not be offended
abartmayalým  we shall not exaggerate
saklanmayalým we shall not hidden
sarýlmayalým  we shall not be embraced
ayrýlmayalým  we shall not be separated

etc.

It doesn´t mean an obligation but a wish, a suggestion.

P.S: the question form is only valid for 1st singular and plural persons.

yapayým mý/ yapalým mý?

yapmayayým mý/yapmayalým mý?

there is no such thing as "yapmayasýn mý/ yapmaya mý/ yapmayasýnýz mý?" etc

-mayalým or -meyelim

is negative of -alým or -elim

-alým or -elim is "let us": making a suggestion

gidelim: let´s go

bakalým: let us look/see

The negative is therefore "let´s not..."

gitmeyelim: let´s not go

bakmayalým: let´s not look

I was going to write the same things Let´s not ... sounds better
