Hi All
I hope someone can help me - i intend to marry my boyfriend in Turkey next month (were going to get married in Aug but are having to move it to next month) and I need advise what needs to be done so everything is done properly etc. I am aware that I need to obtain a certificate of no impendiment from the UK but other than that i am unsure. Also does anyone know what needs to be done in Turkey too.
Thanks in advance for all the advise. Kate

I can't give you an answer, but i advice you to go to your local Turkish embassy/consolate and ask what they advice you to do. Either théy can give you the information, if not, i am sure they can tell you where to gather it.
And tell your bf to go to the nearest embassy of your country and ask the same.

But i am afraid that this procedure will take longer than just 1 month.. I've read that it's not all that easy and that he will be questioned about you a lot, to make sure you two know eachother well. I know not if this is true.
