Hi everybody,
I am a bit confused (whats new!). I saw this warning on a cigarette packet.
'Sigara içmek cildin erken yaşlanmasına neden olur'
It looks like a statement to me,
'Smoking cigarettes makes your skin age early'
I don't understand the 'neden', unless its asking why it does. I am also confused about the 'a' at the end of 'yaşlanmasına'
Thanks, in anticipation,
Etty.
ps. I am still not happy about 'ise' which I posted about before. Is there a way of highlighting a previous thread?
Sorry for being a bit dumb. :-S

neden olmak = to cause..
in english we can use why like :
--- that's why i'm giving this example..
( but in here we are not askin any questions and " neden olmak " is the same thing )
yaşlanmak : to age ..
benim - yaşlanmama
senin - yaşlanmana
onun - yaşlanmasına
cildin - yaşlanmasına ..
now i cant remember what was the name of this. But that " a " must be there ..
