Marhaba all,

I am in Antalya right now, staying in one of the resorts in Lara Beach.  I lost my adaptor and am unable to charge my laptop or anything else for that matter.  They run on the American system and for some reason, I can´t find any adaptors that run on the American system in Antalya, its all UK or elsewhere.  Can someone please tell me of a store in Antalya or in my region that I could get to?  Not sure if anyone can help.

But thanks in advance for any info!!!

Here´s a good tip. Forget about the laptop! You´re on vacation! Go to the beach, get some sun, pick up some dudus! Enjoy yourself!

Or, alternatively, if you really need one..... {#lang_emotions_wink}

I´ve just had to do the same after flying back to Turkey from England and finding out that my luggage didn´t make it with me! (Stupidly put lead in suitcase because it was heavy {#lang_emotions_rolleyes})

I needed to use my laptop the next day for work, but my boyfriend managed to find me a universal power cord - it comes with about six or seven differently sized adaptor endings (the bit where you plug the lead into the computer - don´t know what you call that!) and you can set the voltage on the lead itself. Powers my English laptop fine; may work for yours.

He bought it at a shop called Opurutoru (I think) - don´t know if this is a chain or not, but I imagine any computer store would have one. The adaptor itself is model ATABA AT-1524S.

Called a Switch Mode Adaptör.

Word of warning though - it wasn´t cheap. Cost 90 lira!

Hope it helps if you´re desperate though.

If not, relaxing is a very nice second! {#lang_emotions_bigsmile}

And just realised this isn´t at all what you were asking.... {#lang_emotions_you_crazy}

Doh. Sorry, read this completely wrong.

Have no idea how to help you with this one!

Ignore earlier post.

{#lang_emotions_shy}

Sorry!

In Marmaris, in Varlik hotel where I stayed, the cybercafe is IN the bar lol. Now that´s great planning if you ask me. {#lang_emotions_alcoholics}
