Traditional Turkish sentences:

- Bugün, bugündür.Geçmiþi bugününe getirme.

- Geçmiþi bugününe getirirsen, bugünkü hayatýný bozarsýn.

- Geçmiþinizde kapanmayan bir hesabýnýz var mý?Varsa, hemen o hesabý silin.

My try as a learner.

Today is today. Don´t bring the past into today.

If you bring the past into today, you will spoil the life that is today.

Do you keep a tab (record) of things that are not closed in the past? If you do, always wipe the tab (record) clean.

Hey point of discussion about "bugünkü"   I´ve read that the persian word ´ki´ does NOT follow vowel harmony, but it looks that way in this example.

Good point, I haven´t even noticed it until you mentioned it. I looked it up in Lewis´s Turkish Grammar (I know, I know, I have no life {#lang_emotions_rolleyes}) and it said that -ki doesn´t change except for dün and gün where it changes to -kü. It didn´t say the reason why.
