I cannot fully comprehend these two sentences.  Plz translate into English.

[I think these are ´Physical Features´  ... related with geography of Turkey!?]

(ii)  27 Mayis Devrimini yapanlar büyük ve serefli bir milletin çocuklarýdýr.

Kýzýlýrmak(the red river) and Yeþilýrmak(the green river) flows into Blacksea; Büyük Menderes and Küçük Menderes (rivers) flows into Agean Sea.

(ii) 27 Mayis Devrimini yapanlar büyük ve serefli bir milletin çocuklarýdýr.

The ones who made the *"27th May Revolution" are the children of a big and honourable nation.

*it is a revolution made by Turkish military on 27th may, 1960.

Not Turkish Military. It might to be "Turkish Armed Forces" or" Turkish Army".

Thank you dilliduduk.  I had some idea of the rivers and thought that 27th May had something to do with ´Maypole´ dance or a similar festival!!

One lives and learns.  The ´armed forces´ of ´our´ various countries regularly win great ´victories´ by goose stepping against their own unarmed civil compatriots ... and award theselves colourful ´medals´.  Turkey is not exceptional in this regard.  Pakistan, Libya, Egypt, Syria, Sudan, Iran and Iraq etc.,  ... they all follow a predictable pattern.  Lets ´All Hail´ in advance to the ´revolution´ that seems to be looming in Turkey even now.  I won´t complain as long as I can have my 8 weeks sojourn in Spring and 8 weeks in Autumn.  I´ll endeavour to learn the relevent sentence ´verbatim´.

Thank you for the History lesson.
