Man! What is imaginary, what is real?

But, man´s own selfdeception, all unreal.

As the famous Urdu Þair, Mirza Asad has observed:-

Hasti key mat fareyb mein aja´iyo Asad

Alem tamam halkaye daam-e-hayal hey

Asad, do not be captivated by the illusion of existence

The whole universe is but a noose of perceived reality 

is it correct translation?

OR wait for a good translation

human is neither image nor fact

human is dream of  themself

 I would say

A human is neither fantasy/ imagination nor fact  

The last two are correct.

Ne on its own is what.

ne...ne... means neither...nor
