can somebody help me?!

recently my friend gave a sweet, inside I found a short poem

Bak onun gözlerine bir  kez/ look at his/her eyes once again

Sana olan aþkýný sez/ feel his/her feelings towards you

Insan elbette hata yapar/ everyone can be mistaken

Saf olan altýn eskimez/But a real gold shines forever

is the meaning correct? if you have correct translation, please send it .

 I think its correct basically.   In the first line I don´t see the idea of "again".  I think it translates "Look at his eyes one time"  I think the ideas of the poem are rendered truly.
