Hmmm....maybe Turkish ladies are not as passive as some think?

A Turkish woman locked her rich husband naked in the bathroom for three years claiming that he was mentally disturbed, the newspaper Hurriyet said yesterday.

Orhan Babutcu, 41, was found traumatised, sitting on the shower tiles next to the lavatory, with a bowl on the floor for his food, according to the daily. His wife, Kevser, faces criminal charges. Mr Babutcu said: "Her goal was to make me sick so that I die and she inherits my fortune." He was freed after his mother called the police."

How on earth could she keep him locked up for three years?

Very strange - and amazing no-one realised what she was doing!  But this news is over 5 years´ old how on earth did you come across it?

Horrific to read I must say............

 Yes, I was amazed to have never heard about it before too.  I found it when I was researching the Sandra Cantu murder case, a case in my area of Northern California of a beautiful 7 year old girl who was brutally murdered.  Even more amazing is the fact that the confessed murder is a woman who is the mother of a 5 year old girl.  The murder victim was best friends with the woman´s daughter.   That lead to material on female murderers....and to the odd case I posted about.   IOW....it came up in a search about female murderers.
