I have tried myself to translate it but since I am new with Turkish I only understand "me, answer, why, time, you" . Hopefully someone who knows the language much better could help me. Thanks in advance.

"ramazan ben mesajlar

ýna cevap veremedim

þimdi neden cevap vermiyorsun?

neden vevap yok

saat kaçta msn de olursun

seni bekliyorum

caným ben iþe gidiyorum

seni ararm ým bikaç saat sonra"

 My try (wait for better)....

Ramazan I didn´t reply to your message.

Now why aren´t you answering?

Why no answer?

What time will you be on MSN?

I´m waiting for you

My dear I´m going to work

I will call you a few hours later.

I think the first one is ´I couldn´t reply.........´

but the rest is okay I think.

Ah, so does it not need the -bil- in there as well for ability? Can ´cevap veremedim´ simply mean ´couldn´t reply´ as well?  I thought ´I couldn´t reply´ would be  ´cevap verebilemedim´, or does that not exist? I´m so confused , I think I´m making it more complicated in my head than it actually is

For ´can´t´ the ´ebil´ ´abil´ suffixes aren´t used. You tak the negative form of the verb and add ´e´ or ´a´ after the verb stem.

eg  yapmadým=I didn´t do

     yapAmadým=I couldn´t do

I this case ´cevap vermedim´=I didn´t reply is cevap veremedim=I couldn´t reply.

I hope this helps.

Really? Thank you for explaining, so to clarify there´s no such thing as using -ebil- for ´couldn´t´? We just use normal negative? Sorry it´s not sinking in to my brain, I´ve seen people use it that way, for example when I´ve typed in on google  ´verebilemedim´, there is a result for ´karar verebilemedim´ that has been used. So does this mean that like in English sometimes people have used it incorrectly themselves?

"We just use normal negative"

It´s not the normal negative.

An ´e´ or ´a´ is inserted between the verb stem and the ´normal negative´ ending.

Maybe someone else can clarify the other points.

?

 ´karar verebilemedim´

I have read that it sometimes is used,  so a student needs to recognize it.  (But don´t say it that way, use the correct construction)
