Will someone please correct my Turkish so I dont sound like a total toolbag on my voicemail please (gotta impress the in-laws and I dont want to sound like some FOB   ---
Affedersiniz. Þimdi telefonda deðilim. Lütfen bir mesaj býrakýnýz ve sana söz verim sizi arayacaðým. Teþekkür ederim.
Þimdi telefonda deðilim is "I´m not at the phone right now", it does make sense in English but it sounds a bit funny to me in Turkish=)) So maybe you´d want to say "Þu an evde deðilim(I´m not home right now)"
and you don´t really need the -ýz suffix at the end when you´re talking to a person.
So here´s my corrected attempt;
Afedersiniz. Þu an evde deðilim. Lütfen bir mesaj býrakýn ve size söz veriyorum sizi arayacaðým. Teþekkür ederim.
and I´m not sure if people would leave a message as "size söz veriyorum sizi arayacaðým". Maybe you´d like to say "Ben sizi sonra ararým(I´ll call you back later)" or "Ben size sonra geri dönerim.(I´ll be back to you later)". Or maybe there´s a better way of saying this.. IDK=)
