Þimdi telefonda deðilim is "I´m not at the phone right now", it does make sense in English but it sounds a bit funny to me in Turkish=)) So maybe you´d want to say "Þu an evde deðilim(I´m not home right now)"

and you don´t really need the -ýz suffix at the end when you´re talking to a person.

So here´s my corrected attempt;

Afedersiniz.  Þu an evde deðilim.  Lütfen bir mesaj býrakýn ve size söz veriyorum sizi arayacaðým. Teþekkür ederim.

and I´m not sure if people would leave a message as  "size söz veriyorum sizi arayacaðým".  Maybe you´d like to say "Ben sizi sonra ararým(I´ll call you back later)" or "Ben size sonra geri dönerim.(I´ll be back to you later)". Or maybe there´s a better way of saying this.. IDK=)

"Mesaj býrakýn" is also plural, and formal..  Býrakýnýz is the textbook language=)

as for I am away from my phone, you can say

"Telefonumun yanýnda deðilim"(which may make your phone sound like a person)

"Telefonum yanýmda deðil"(better, I guess "my phone is not with me")

hýýýýýýý....anladým.  Here is the final cut then--

Cell phone

Afedersiniz, telefonum yanýmda deðil. Lütfen bir mesaj býrakýn ve size sonra geri dönerim. Teþekkur ederim.

Bu iyi mi?
