Literal:

May tearful eyes not be left behind those who love each other

Means: don´t cry about those who have gone because they love each other (like a bride has gone to another village, or even another country!)

Quoting MarioninTurkey

Literal:

May tearful eyes not be left behind those who love each other

Means: don´t cry about those who have gone because they love each other (like a bride has gone to another village, or even another country!)

This sentence expresses a "wish", not a "command"

May no tearful eyes be left behind, between parting lovers

meaning: let no lovers part (as tears would inevitably follow).
