Teþekkür ederim! ....so ebilir/abilir can mean both "can" and "should"? I also heard that when a verb ends with "-sun" it means "should", is this wrong? For example "Ona sorsun....you should ask him".

ebilir/abýlýr is suitable for "can", meli/malý is suitable for "should"...  and that is true if u wanna say"ona sorsun..etc.. yucan say "you should ask him"..

My pleasure!

And to quote sonunda from a previous post:

The suffix ´sin´ can be added directly to a verb stem and gives the meaning ´let him/her/it ...´ or ´he/she/it should ......´

Kolay gelsin = let it go easy (I hope it will go smoothly)

geçmiþ olsun = let it pass soon (I hope you get well soon)

Thanks for the insights, this is just great!

Just one thing, I cannot manage to get to the links of the website turkishlanguage.co.uk, I always get a page load error message.....help anyone?

Also, a question in my learning: how can we express ´could´? Is there a suffix for this, or do I look into conjugation tenses?

yardim için teþekkürler!
