isn´t it a bit strange to talk about freedom of speech, and than mentioning how he cannot say these things? That´s a double standard...so you should be able to say anything you want, but another can´t?

Actually, any of the columnists, at their discretion,  can disable comments for their column, it appears this is the only one who has taken advantage of that option.....and only for this particular column.

Oh! Thanks, now I understand! So it has nothing with administration, right? It is the columnist who doesn´t want his column to be commeted.

Catwoman Caným,

Look, only one essay is closed to comments. Its closed intentionaly to hide other point views.

It is the columnist´s choice to have comments or not.

Freedom of speech is not the liberty of blubbering anything that pops to your mind, on the spot.

It is the freedom to be able to say what you want from amongst many correct and rational alternatives.
