Lots of info in the Turkish press at the moment about the Uyghur Autonomous Republic. Has it hit the UK press yet?

There was a big coverage of it in the Independent yesterday (Thurs).  It has been on the BBC news as well.  (Assuming you mean all the unrest and riots).

Here is one of the stories.  There was another about the G8 and the Chinese President leaving to go back to China.

From Wednesdays Indepenent.

The gutter press is more interested if Michael Jackson will be buried with his brain or Jordan and her new (hopeful) career as an actress.......
