Does anybody know if a holder of a Turkish drivers licence is allowed to use a car in Europe during their holidays? Kadir is coming to the Netherlands this summer and it would be very practical if we could use the car (I don´t have my licence yet obviously . Can he drive our car here without problems or should he first apply and buy an International Driving Licence?

 I´m not sure about Europe, I can only speak about the U.S.  However, I´m curious as to why you don´t have a license.  I just read an article about the teens here in the U.S. and how they are waiting longer and longer to get their license.  I remember how I couldn´t wait to turn 16 to drive.  I´m just curious if the trend is the same where you are...

 As i know it is valid if you are gonna stay shorter than 3 monthes in Europe, thats what i know...

But if he can go to a Turing office with 2 pictures of him and enough money with the photocopy of his id and driving licence with the originals, he will get international driving licence in 30 mins but it is costing little much around 130 Euros...
