I´m looking to work in Turkey next summer, but I have no real idea with where to start with all the legal stuff.  I only want to work in a bar/restaurant for 2 to 3 months..?   I´m going visiting twice this summer, so hopefully will be able to ask about and find some more friends and ask old ones, but any information would be greatly appreciated.

The bottom line is - you can´t work legally in Turkey without a work permit.  There was a big crackdown on illegal workers on the Bodrum peninsula last summer and a lot of people - mostly females - were deported.  If you work in a bar/restaurant you will definitely be working illegally - you can take your chance and you may get away with it (you may even get lucky and actually get the wage you are promised) but the worst scenario is that you will be deported and not allowed to return to Turkey for 5 years.    However, I do know several Brit girls who have got away with it for the past few years so you may get lucky! The risk is up to you

If you are already offered a job, then ask the employer to send you an official letter where he/she states for what period he/she is hiring you. With that paper (if its official) you can get a working-visa at your nearest Turkish embassy. Or just visit them and ask what to do, that you want a summerjob or something. Id be careful working illegal because the punishment is 5 years of no access to Turkey, and when you apply for a student-visa or a working-visa (any visa other than tourist) they ask if you have been denied access in TUrkey before. To check ´yes´ on that question might influence all your future long-term plans in Turkey!

Hmmm {#emotions_dlg.shy} Be careful of the English you use canisyelda.

"and servicing customer to maintain good relation.."

Normally we provide ´customer service´ or are ´serving customers´.

"Natashas" are often ´servicing a customer´, which has a vulgar meaning.

You can only work in Turkey if you get a work permit. Work permits are only given if it is hard to find a Turkish person to fill the job. From what you write it would be hard for you to find a legal job in Turkey, since there are a lot of people with a marketing mba out there.
