Actually to translate the turkish you gave:
What importance has a name? Even if we do not call a rose a rose, it is still a rose and it will still smell sweetly.

The main purpose of the site is to learn the language - hence the title ´Turkish Language Class - Free Online Turkish Language Resource´ - of course there are also many discussions on Turkis culture/politics etc. in the forums.
