Tempting Turkish Dishes

I like the fact that Turkish dishes are not very spicy, like Indian food for example (which seems to be all spice, no taste!!). Maybe the fact that Turkish cuisine uses milder spices makes it so delicious!!?
This could be a first because I agree with catwoman here. I prefer to know what I am eating and curry powder is often used to mask some dodgy ingredients. Give me good Scottish cuisine anytime.

Scottish? That awful Haggish (or what´s it called)? Yikes. I prefer a nice Indian meal: nan, dal soup, saag chicken, raita, kheer (pudding) and of course lhassi. Yummie!

Haggis actually. Many times I have been to Scotland and it is the only name I know.

Thanks but no thanks. I would prefer a prime Aberdeen Angus steak anyday. The haggis we only keep for the tourists.
