(*) - I´m not sure about the second sentence - "bu halý" seems to mean "this state of it" (where "it" = "song"), then "yani orijinalý" ("I mean original (of it)") explains what state does he/she means -> the original version of this song. Then "daha güzel" seems to be related to "orijinalý", meaning that he/she says that the original version was more beautiful, in his/her opinion. Is my reasoning correct here ?

Another thought about the second sentence:

güzel þarký olmuþ ama bu hali yani orjinali daha güsel

"hali" means also "empty/void" - so maybe it means:

"It is nice song, but it is (somewhat) void, I mean original is more beautiful".

Yes the original was in arabic I suppose. I this sentece they are listening to the arabic version (original) and they also mention this song is transated in Turkish and Lara is singing it and its name in Turkish is Ýhanetin Bekçisi.

Thank you for your explanation, toggle! Still I have a few questions about the second sentence - I would really appreciate if you or someone else could help me in understanding it correctly (sorry for bothering, but it´s still not quite clear to me):

Does it mean that new, turkish version, is original and more beautiful? Or maybe that original version of it was more beautiful? And does "bu hali" here means "this state of it" or "it is void" ?

yani is a little bit extra here.  when you are thinking or evaluating something in your head while talking then you use yani in speaking. but not used in writing because while speaking you emphasize it showing that you are not very sure and you are evaluating it one more time before telling your ideas about it.

so while talking we say "yaaani" which is different  than regular yani. we strech the first syllable. but you can only understand the difference in talking.
