Görülür vs. var

I´ve been translating this short text about the Turkish climate and I´ve noticed in many sentences "görülür" is used, for example:

Türkiye´nin kýyý bölgelerinde denizlerin etkisiyle ýlýman iklim görülür.

Türkiye´de üç iklim tipi görülür.

Karadeniz iklimi: Türkiye´nin kuzey kýyýlarýnda görülür.

Now, "görülür" seems to be translated as "is seen", "appears", "occurs":

In the Turkish coastal regions with the effects of the seas temperate climate appears.

Three types of climate are seen in Turkey.

The climate of the Black Sea: it is seen on the north shores of Turkey.

It seems a bit awkward to me, I´m wondering it could be translated as "is present" or maybe there´s a better way to translate the sentences.

Also, would it be interchangeable with "var" or "dýr"? Could I say, for example:

Türkiye´nin kýyý bölgelerinde denizlerin etkisiyle ýlýman iklim var.

Türkiye´de üç iklim tipi var.

Karadeniz iklimi: Türkiye´nin kuzey kýyýlarýndadýr.

Or would it make less sense?

Thanks

These are OK but those with "görülür" sounds better.

Or would it make less sense?

Thanks
