trying to make meaningful sentences

1. Ayþe ve Mehmet arkadaþlarým

2. havada çok beyaz kuþlar var

3. türkiye çok büyük ülke

 

 

 

correct me if I am wrong

I´m not turkish but i can try..so the other can correct me..

 

1. it´s right

2. havada çok beyaz kuþ var (you put kuþlar but if ther is çok you must leave it at the singular)

3. it´s right or you can say also : türkiye çok büyük bir ülke (maybe)

Gökyüzü = sky

Gökyüzüde = in the sky

 

To help others make any corrections, it is a always a great help if you write what you wanted to say in English as well.

Then there is no confusion, or they can change the wording to a more natural Turkish expression. Smile

why?  is she trying to say ´there is a very white bird in the sky´ or ´in the sky there are a lot of white birds´?

It seems that she tried to say:

 

There are many white birds in the air.

 

I think "havada" is ok for "in the air" and doesn´t have to be changed to "in the sky". Perhaps a native speaker can verify.

 

If you wanted to say: There´s a very white bird ... you´d need to say: "... çok beyaz bir kuþ..." or "bembeyaz bir kuþ".

 

To say "many birds", I think "çok kuþ" or "birçok kuþ" is the correct translation.
