I just watched a movie (Beþ Vakit) where a bunch of school children were saying together something that began with the words in the title and ended with the famous "Ne mutlu Türküm diyene."

Is this something usually done at schools? Sort of like the Pledge of Allegiance in the US? Does anybody know the whole text?

And is this where (some) Turkish men get the idea of always being "doðru"?
