I have a question about the following sentences:

1) Bunu hangi öðrenci olsa anlayabilir.

2) Bunu kim olsa yapabilir.

These sentences were translated here as:

1) Any student can understand this.

2) Anybody can do this.

I´m wondering, is this a common way to express "any"?

Also, in the dictionary, "any" is translated as "herhangi bir", so I´m wondering if it wouldn´t be better to say:

Both of them are OK. You can use it anyway. When you use -se/-sa it gives

whatever, whoever,wherever etc. meaning but they are close and can be used interchangably.

Bunu kim olsa yapabilir (or "yapar" is also possible)

Herhangibir kiþi (kimse) bunu yapabilir/yapar.

= Anybody can do this (whoever he may be).

1) Herhangi bir öðrenci bunu anlayabilir.

2) Herhangi bir kiþi bunu yapabilir.

So it looks like kim olsa = kimse, right?

kim olsa = her kimse

kimse is used in negative and (negative) interrogative sentences for anybody.

orada kimse var mý? = is there anybody there?

orada kimse yok mu? = isn´t there anynody there?

orada kimse yok = there isn´t anybody there (there´s nobody there)

So, for "I can stay anywhere", I could say:

Herhangi bir yerde kalabilirim. correct

or

Yerde olsa kalabilirim. incorrect

Right?

Hangi yerde olsa kalabilirim(=kalýrým)

or

Nerede olsa kalabilirim(=kalýrým)

Question word + V + -sa/-sa

Your incorrect example doesn´t have a question word in it.
